February Getaway with Baird siblings to St. George

The Baird siblings spent a few relaxing days down in colorful St. George in the cold month of February. We had an incredible time enjoying our stay in an ultra-deluxe suite of the World Mark Resort. Thanks Alayne and Jeff!

We spent a day going to beautiful Zion's National Park, taking two cars. We enjoyed our day going to the Visitor's Center, eating lunch in the parking lot, and taking a couple of hikes.

Our amazing and supportive spouses!

Spectacular scenery, breathtakingly beautiful!

Went by the cute little cemetery in Pintura that now has a sign saying "Gregerson Cemetary".

Enjoyed an afternoon at the St.George Temple.

On our way home we stopped in beautiful Kolob Canyon. This view was screamingly gorgeous even in cold February weather! Great place for a photo with such an excellent backdrop.

We look forward to more enjoyable get-aways together!

Lori's Homecoming

Lori came home from Brazil on March 9th. The first pictures are the airport scene! So fun to be there and feel the love!

Driving to the newly remodeled Baird home, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by Lori, of course!

And then she enters a Brand New HOME! Wow... so gorgeous!

I love this last picture.... Lori sprawls out and enjoys the new carpet and being home!

May 29, Two years, Bairds gather

On the Saturday before Memorial Day, the Bairds gathered to remember Grandma Baird who passed away two years from the day of her passing. We met at the cemetery and ended up at the Thomas home where we had a hamburger fry, a little volleyball, and a great time visiting. I just wish I had taken more pictures of everybody. But I do have a few.

1st photo is of Lizzy Doermann and her newest addition to the family: Ramona.

Alex Doermann with his little niece, Pearl.

Four of the Steve Baird clan... missing Austin, + Amy & Jon's cute family up in Seattle.

Volleyball fun

Family gathering at the Murray City Cemetery with Grandma & Grandpa's grave in front.

It was really great to gather together again, to see the changes in our children, and feel the love of this great Baird family.

February Fun

The Baird brothers and sisters and spouses got together and enjoyed good food and fun at Tepanyaki together. We caught up with each others lives and what is happening in each family. Laughter followed trying to catch airborne shrimp! Here is Steve & Abby with Rick & Sherrie.

Trudy & Cliff and Alayne and Jeff enjoying their meal.

During our time together, we learned that Rick and Sherrie had demolished the inside of their home. We happened to catch a few photos of the after effects.

We learned about Zoe's upcoming gymnastics meet. I was able to attend half of it and caught a few things on video. She's at a level 7. She got a 8.65 on her vault and a 8.9 on her uneven bars. How to go Zoe!

Update on the Schmidts:
Zachary is now in 8th grade, plays the trumpet and is in competitive soccer, recently in a competition down in Mesquite. He'll be going to the National Scout Jamboree in July spending 3 weeks back east! He's almost done with his Eagle too! Way to go Zac!
Zoe is in 5th grade and loves to read. She quit dance but is highly involved in gymnastics training and enjoying a bit of soccer on the side.
Whitney is in 1st grade and continues to be her happy-go-lucky self.
Cliff is in training for a mini-triathlon as well busy with 2 jobs and Elder Quorum President. Trudy keeps extremely busy supporting this active family, and enjoys teaching her Primary class. They recently finished their basement and love their theater room. There will be more updates on the rest of the Baird's in the coming weeks.

An Arizona Addition

With Heidi's permission, I'm adding the photos she sent through email of her latest darling baby boy. We're so thrilled for them and this new addition. Here's what she wrote in her email....

We are real excited to let you know that our new little man is here! He was born Tuesday, Jan 19th at 11:00 a.m. He came to us at a healthy 8 lbs 10 oz, and 20 inches long...quite a bit smaller from Dyson (10lbs 1oz & 22.5").
Thanks for all of your friendship and support through everything. I am so grateful for all of my dear friends like you. We named him Carden Baird Lighthall (Baird being my middle name).
I hope all of you are doing great, and have as much to be grateful for as I do.
Love, Heidi
