A Few July Events

Just a quick shout-out to Amy and Jon. We wish them the best of luck as they pack up and head to Spokane for three years. Good luck with school and have fun in the northwest! We look forward to seeing them when they get a chance to visit.

The Doermann's sure have a big month of July! All kinds of fun events are happening with them. Alex returns home from the New York Bronx Mission on Thursday, July 9th. We look forward to having him here, although I'm sure he'll have mixed emotions about coming home. The next day Andrea will marry Jeremy Tidwell in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple. Her reception will be at the Old Meeting House from 6:00 to 7:30 for the reception line and then 7:30 to 8:00 for dancing.

Alex will be speaking at 1:00 on the 19th in Alayne and Jeff's ward. We look forward to hearing about all of his experiences. Then Michael and Aylla are getting married in the Salt Lake Temple on the 25th of July -- more to follow later.

Lori and Aylla are both receiving their endowment on the 23rd of July -- also more details to follow. There will be a shower for Aylla on the 13th and Steve and Abby's house. Abby will let you know more details about that. We are excited to have Aylla and Jeremy become members of our family!

Stay tuned for pictures of these upcoming events!

So long....5537 Kenwood

Wednesday evening, we gathered together bringing our keys to give to the Wells. We took the opportunity to take photos one more time in the back yard and in the front. Many wonderful memories have been made here, lots of love was felt here, but the love in our family carries on. Love to you all! Cheryl

Goodbye to home, Hello to Allison

Whitney-- saying goodbye to Grandma's house through her living room window, with view to the backyard.

We've closed on the home -- taken from the Hendricks front porch across the street.

View of the front porch, place of many memories.

We welcome the newest member of the Baird clan! Allison Baird was born to Dave and Stacie! Cute, happy family.

The House

Well, it's time. With some hard debating back and forth, Grandma's house is finally sold. We close on Wednesday and it's sad to see it leave the family. We have had some great times there!

Such as 4th of July picnics with some volleyball:

Or some Thanksgiving Talent Nights at the ol' black piano:

We'll have to hold on to the memories, for that truly is all we can take with us in the next life. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work in getting it ready to sell!

The New Blog

Life is getting a little hectic for all of us, yet we still want to stay in touch. Here's a blog of all of us to enjoy and to catch up with each other - about our families, jobs, callings, etc. It is open to everyone to share their news and we'd love to hear from you!

And as a starter, congratulations to David and Stacey on their new baby girl Allison!
